Crystal clear waters that gradually deepen, ideal for children.<\/p><p>On its beach, <a href=\"https:\/\/el.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/%CE%9A%CF%81%CE%AF%CE%BD%CE%BF%CF%82_%CF%84%CE%B7%CF%82_%CE%B8%CE%AC%CE%BB%CE%B1%CF%83%CF%83%CE%B1%CF%82\">sea lilies grow<\/a>, rare flowers of 2500 thousand years old that bloom on August 15th and are a protected species. It has two streams that flow into this beach of Electrologists and Velika. Near the Velika stream there is a small multi-purpose hall, Platania, with wonderful natural coolness, the small Theater, a playground, a small field, 5X5 and the municipal refreshment center.<\/p><p>Just above the multi-purpose hall but very close, there is the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/larisa.culture.gr\/index.php\/arxaiologikoi-xoroi-kai-mnimeia-nomoy-larisas\/9-uncategorised\/154-kastro-velikas\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">6th century castle of Velika<\/a>, built on an ancient fortification, we only need a 10\u201d hike and we will be compensated by the stunning view of the Aegean Sea, the Sporades and Mount Athos. On the same road, quite further up, there is the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/nektariosdrososfiloi.gr\/%ce%b9-%ce%bc%ce%bf%ce%bd%ce%ae-%ce%b9%cf%89%ce%b1%ce%bd%ce%bd%ce%bf%cf%85-%cf%84%ce%bf%cf%85-%ce%b8%ce%b5%ce%bf%ce%bb%cf%8c%ce%b3%ce%bf%cf%85-%ce%b2%ce%b5%ce%bb%ce%af%ce%ba%ce%b1\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Stavropegial Monastery of I. Theologos of 1776<\/a>, which is worth visiting, as well as\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/nektariosdrososfiloi.gr\/%ce%b9-%ce%bd-%cf%80%ce%b1%ce%bd%ce%b1%ce%b3%ce%af%ce%b1%cf%82-%ce%b2%ce%b5%ce%bb%ce%af%ce%ba%ce%b1%cf%82\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Panagia Velika<\/a>, the Virgin of the Wolf, a small single-aisled Byzantine street church of the 12th century, a unique example of the technique, in Thessaly, of the hidden plinth. The Church celebrates on August 23 during the novena of the Virgin Mary.<\/p><p>For hiking enthusiasts, there is the Melivoia-Velika trail, suitable for families with children, and according to the
