Information
A huge sandy beach full of shells, a primeval nature with herons disturbing the blue crabs, an eerie setting with huts and people who don’t talk, don’t look, don’t bother, they simply coexist with the landscape.
Certainly not for many but certainly for those who have an exploratory attitude to life. Europeans with their vans, campers who may have gotten lost, shadows of fishermen with rods, few boats that come out of the fresh water into the salt water.
Many times groups of happy people who have just finished exploring the river with their canoes in an organized descent but also some with binoculars interested in the cormorants, herons and even the flamingos that are hiding. We will certainly meet walkers on the riverside path of the forest.
The area is Natura, a unique wetland that hosts 225 species of birds. Here in the Pinios Delta with its many fjords, we will feel the power of nature and its beauty.
